We all have places we tell ourselves we need to go visit but never really get around to doing so until someone gives us that final push to say fuck it lets go! Sometimes I feel like that’s all we really need to take more risks in life you know? A sort of hype man that sees the passion in your eyes when you talk about something you’ve been longing to do and says I hear you and I wanna help in any way I can.

I was lucky enough to experience something like this back in June when my shared love for art installations and Kanye came into play when talking about James Turell with someone I had only met after one date mentioned she had always wanted to go see one of his installations located at Pomona college.

We committed ourselves to waking up at 3:00am so we could drive down to the college and witness this beautiful light show together until sunrise. Once we got there I laid out some blankets and pillows and we shared deep moments of intimacy through physical touch as well as verbally getting to know one another.

As far as dates go this one will forever hold a special place in my heart and I encourage anyone who has not yet visited this beautiful art instillation to do so whether it be with a romantic partner or friend.
