Sacred Spectacle

Assistant Production Manager / Coreographer

Sacred Spectacle
Los Angeles, CA | June 2019

Sacred Spectacle was a large-scale, multidisciplinary benefit concert designed to raise essential funds for The Slauson Rec Theater School a community-based, experimental theater collective founded by Shia LaBeouf and Bobby Soto. The event directly supported the school’s ability to secure alternative rehearsal venues, provide transportation for participants across South Central Los Angeles, and expose students to broader theatrical experiences beyond their neighborhood.

In my role as Assistant Production Manager, I was instrumental in executing the logistical and creative vision of the show. I oversaw all critical production areas including staging, wardrobe, makeup, choreography coordination, and real-time performer support—ensuring that every element of the live show ran with precision and professionalism. Working alongside a high-profile lineup of artists, I facilitated smooth transitions between acts and created a cohesive backstage environment that honored both the performers’ needs and the event’s ambitious schedule.

Key Contributions:

  • Coordinated complex logistics across staging, costume design, makeup, choreography, and talent support for over a dozen live acts.

  • Acted as primary liaison between the production team and performers, ensuring artist readiness and smooth performance flow.

  • Helped foster a supportive, on-brand creative environment reflecting Slauson Rec’s mission of inclusive, community-driven storytelling.
